International music festival in magical Český Krumlov

Our long-term cooperation took us once again to one of the most beautiful cities – Český Krumlov.

Preparation for the entire event started in our warehouse, where the warehouse people loaded four trucks full of material needed for the construction of the stage and it took them three days. We went to Český Krumlov, where we had been the technical partner of the Český Krumlov International Music Festival for 8 years. Our team of experienced technicians built a 15 x 14-metre stage with a roof in two days, and also assembled a covered viewing platform for 300 people.

The organizer of the Auviex festival was forced to postpone this year’s 30th anniversary event to a later date, which was eventually in September. Despite this shift, festival fans could look forward to 16 concerts in the magical Český Krumlov. We set up the stage in the Brewery Garden, a beautiful place full of greenery, with a view of the Český Krumlov castle.

The world-famous opera legend, conductor and singer Plácido Domingo returned to the festival after ten years, opening the entire gala concert with a breathtaking performance. Jazz drummer Billy Cobham came onto the stage a few days later, making the audience in the Brewery Garden move their bodies. The last performance for us was Broadway Night, where foreign musical singers presented the most famous melodies from the musicals Cabaret, Phantom of the Opera or Les Misérables, as well as other world-famous pop hits such as I Will Always Love You or Last Dance.

We were responsible for the sound of all the performances, and we also took care of the light show on the stage. Our permanent team has been going to the festival for several years. Thanks to this experience, the technical team can always handle everything without any problems. We would like to thank the client for their trust and look forward to the next year, which we hope will take place on the usual date.
