The VEX IQ Challenge robotics competition for the year 2022/2023 is subtitled Slapshot.
The object of the game is to get the highest score by emptying the bins and placing the discs in the target zones.
VEX IQ Challenge Slapshot is played on a rectangular 6 x 8 tile field configured as seen below. Two robots compete in the Team Challenge as an alliance in 60-second team matches, working together to score points.
Teams also compete in the Robot Skills Challenge. This challenge consists of a driving skill match, fully controlled by the driver, and a programming skill match, autonomous with limited human interaction.
