60th edition of the largest and oldest international film festival for children and youth
Today at 8:15pm there will be a live broadcast of the award ceremony of the 60th annual International Film Festival for Children and Youth.
’The unifying topic of the 60th Zlín Film Festival is the motto “Back to the Future”. In addition to the reference to two essential science fiction films, and the entire genre in general, it is a playful symbolism of connecting the past with the future. The anniversary year offers a sober look back at the history of the film festival, which is the oldest and largest of its kind in the world. The presenter of the evening, during which the jury will award the most successful films and creators, is Jan Čenský.'
