Modernization doesn't always have to mean a large investment
By using a high-quality secondhand solution at the Kralovice Summer Cinema, we were able to modernize the projection technology at a reasonable cost—a factor that is often crucial for summer cinema operators.
Do you need to upgrade your projection technology but have a limited budget? One option is to use proven second-hand technology. This is exactly the solution the Kralovice Summer Cinema chose. Instead of investing in brand-new technology, we recommended equipment that is still supported by the manufacturer, offering reliable operation, affordable service, and long-term viability.
We replaced the original Christie CP2000 series projector with a Christie CP4220 4K projector featuring a built-in Dolby IMS3000 media block, creating one of the few 4K solutions for summer movie theaters in the Czech Republic.
The installation combines a high-quality, pre-owned 4K DCI projector with a 4K DCI server, allowing visitors to watch movies in top-notch picture quality without the operator having to invest in completely new technology.
Secondhand technology thus represents a sensible alternative for theaters that need to upgrade their digital projection systems but are also looking for a cost-effective solution. The result is a modernization achieved with an affordable investment, without compromising projection quality, while maintaining full service support and without any operational restrictions.
