The biggest sport charity event Tour 4 Change is approaching, where disabled cyclists visit chosen cities and meet with children from primary schools.
The goal of the tour which connects children with the disabled is to change the perception of the disabled, drawing attention to children underestimating safety during sport and on the way to school and familiarizing parents with a preventative approach to the illness that avoids permanent damage- a medical disability.
This year starts on the International Children’s Day on 1.6 in Zlín in the 55 International Film Festival for children and young people. It starts in Brno, Chrudim and Litoměřice and on 5.6 Peloton cyclists come to Prague on Wenceslas Square. An abundant program for children has been prepared in each town accompanied by various competitions, races in the hand bike, driving skills in a wheelchair, a common ride and musical performances.
The entire event is organized by the non-profit company Černí koně, which connects the world of the disabled with the majority of society, defying prejudices and bringing insight into both worlds. The tour focuses primarily on children because they will lead society, and Černí koně perceives that if we are seeking changes to society, it must begin with those who are listening and will take action tomorrow.
