Acoustics are an integral part of the environment in which we move every day and which has an impact on us. It affects the level of detail of our perception of acoustic stimuli in our surroundings and has a fundamental impact on our mental and physical well-being and the associated results of our work.
Each space in which we move has its specific acoustic properties, which are usually basically described by the reverberation time. This parameter is different for each space, not only depending on the size, but also the purpose for which the environment around us is used. The exact optimal values of the reverberation time are then defined by the standard for each space, and these should be especially met if our goal is to listen to spoken word in a high-quality and intelligible way, or to use audio technology and conference technology.
Acoustic study based on measurements and material description of peripheral structures creates an acoustic mathematical model, thanks to which it is subsequently possible to optimize the reverberation time according to acoustic standards by suitable modifications, distribution, addition or replacement of acoustic materials. The output of the study is thus a basic proposal for acoustic optimization with a description and recommendations of acoustic modifications and placement of acoustic elements in the space.
