Dear friends,
Even though it is said that hope dies last, unfortunately this year we were not unable to organize the traditional CINEMA CZECH meeting due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We are therefore very happy that we had the opportunity, in cooperation with the Association of Cinema Operators, to organize the first online conference called Virtual Cinema and thus present you with hot news. As part of the conference, we showed you not only technological news, but we also focused on anti-Covid solutions for cinemas, on the possibilities of financial support for cinemas from state institutions, and we talked about how to prevent problems with the DCI technology turned off. Live in the studio, we welcomed several guests – Jan Bradáč from FALCON and Martin Pošta from the Association of Cinema Operators. We believe that the Virtual Cinema pilot was the first of a series of online meetings that will follow.
