European Capital of Culture

AV MEDIA was a partner of the Rijeka 2020 event. During the Croatian Presidency of the EU, Rijeka, as the largest Croatian port, became the European Capital of Culture in 2020. It became the centre of an important and extensive cultural and artistic life and a host city for the best and most interesting artists from all over the world.

The title ‘European Capital of Culture’ is always granted by the European Union for one year to one or more European cities, which thus have the opportunity to present their cultural life and development to Europe throughout the year.

Cultural facilities co-financed from EU funds were opened as part of the European Capital of Culture project. The project involved more than 250 cultural institutions not only from Croatia, but also from 40 other countries around the world and offered more than 600 cultural and artistic events.

'Greetings,

I would like to thank you for your time and effort and give special praise to Martin and Lucas who were very helpful, capable and it was pleasure to work with them. You certainly have our recommendations for future events.'

All the best
DANIEL BUKVIĆ, Chief Construction Coordinator
