AV MEDIA is the official technical supplier of the Czech Olympic team and this summer we have again the amazing oportunity to participate in the Olympic parks preparations, we are especially proud of the largest one at the Lipno Lake!
In August the Lipno dam in Southern Bohemia will transform into a little olympic village. At many different sports venues around the water you will be able to try out various disciplines of Olympic sports, including some non-traditional ones such as water slalom, fencing or judo. Also, there will be many find non-Olympic sports, which has become popular recently. Visitors will be able to try a ride on paddle boards and play rugby or baseball. There is a cycle path around the dam, so you will be able to move between locations on your bike or rollerblades.
There will also be a healthy dose of culture – you can look forward to shows of many Czech bands - Portless, Mydy Rabycad and a famous signer Klára Výtisková. Bring the young ones with you; a rich weekend programme has been prepared for them in cooperation with ČT:D and the popular theatre company Kašpárek v rohlíku. Similarly, as was the case in 2014 at the Summer Games in Sochi, we expect that the Olympians from Rio will come to Lipno immediately upon their return.
AV MEDIA will supply all the technology needed during the event. You will enjoy several LED walls around the whole area – a dominate feature will be the main stage with a LED wall measuring 7x4 m. We will provide sound and lighting as well as broadcasting from the ČT studio, from which live transmissions will be broadcast every day.
Entry to the park is free for all visitors.
