FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup
Kraftwerk Berlin, the iconic industrial space of a former power plant, hosted the official draw ceremony for the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026. The evening also included the Hall of Fame induction ceremony and was broadcast live to more than 40 countries worldwide.
The technical scope covered complete AV production across two separate spaces within the venue. The installation comprised 15 LED walls, 140 m² of MESH LED and 60 m² of P2.8 LED, with lighting design delivered through 196 intelligent fixtures including 194 Astera QuickSpot units. Two distinct set-ups within a single building required precise installation coordination. Two days of build, one and a half days of rehearsals, and five hours of live event production.
Showcalling was handled by LIVEBROS. The result was a technically precise production befitting the scale of a global sporting event.
