Third year of the ČEA Annual Awards

Despite the current complicated situation, the Czech Event Association organized another year of the Annual Awards and, thanks to AV MEDIA EVENTS, offered a live online broadcast of the ceremony from our oneAVstudio in Prague.

The AV MEDIA EVENTS team successfully broadcast the first gala event from oneAVstudio. The Czech Event Association did not give up in this difficult time and decided to hold a national competition for the best event of 2019, the ČEA Annual Awards. Our team technically supported the entire oneAVstudio, from which the ceremony was broadcast live, and this extraordinary event was a real success. XLab provided the digital handling of the entire event, and the production agency Event Arena designed the broadcasting concept and took care of the entire event to run smoothly.

The awards ceremony lasted 140 minutes, the broadcast was presented from the studio by Adam Nedvídek, and the chairman of the Czech Event Association helped him the entire time to virtually hand over the prizes to the winners. A DJ was also present on the spot, who underscored the atmosphere of the entire ceremony live. Several famous personalities, such as Jakub Kohák, presenter Libor Bouček, actor Tomáš Hanák and others, also joined the studio remotely. All contestants were connected online via the Webex application throughout the broadcast, watched the live broadcast in this application and were connected directly to the studio on the LED screen when the individual categories were announced. The number of remotely connected guests to the studio was really high and the whole team handled the organization and the technical burden perfectly. Viewers could watch the broadcast from their homes on YouTube and Facebook channels.

The live online event received over 500 views during the broadcast; when pre-recorded connections are included, the number increases to more than 1,000. In this way, we provided the first virtual gala event without any problems and proved that even in the current difficult situation we can handle festive events online.
