Celebration of the Screening of the Film LIDICE in Lidice
A celebration of the screening of the film LIDICE was held on the eve of the 69th anniversary of the Lidice tragedy.
A range of personalities from public and political life, including the actors and filmmakers joined some survivors of the tragedy.
Over three hundred invited guests attended the screening Snímek at an improvised summer cinema in a Lidice gallery garden, including women and children from Lidice who were lucky enough to survive. It started as a memorial event to honour the victims from Lidice, a symbol of Nazi terror from the Second World War. For more information please see report ČT24.
In order to project the premiere of the LIDICEM film, AV MEDIA provided a huge inflatable screen with a projection area of 12 x 6 m. The mobile equipment, which connected to traditional summer cinemas with powerful DCI Christie projector and a quality sound system, enhanced the emotional experience for the 340 viewers present for the screening.
