The St. Elisabeth Cathedral in Košice
The St. Elisabeth Cathedral in Košice was lit up in several colours on the first day of the opening ceremony of the European Capital of Culture of 2013.
Košice and the French city of Marseille-Provence were named the European Capitals of Culture for 2103 and the St. Elisabeth Cathedral in Košice was lit up in several colours. The lighting on the largest cathedral in Slovakia throughout the whole weekend was an unforgettable spectacle, which thousands of spectators did not want to miss.
