THE UNIQUE EXHIBITION “BYLO NEBYLO”

We can't count how many times the exhibition has been closed and reopened in the last year. Where did it come from, what does immersive mean, and why should you not miss it?

We made the famous paintings move

Immerse yourself in the masterpieces of the Impressionists and experience them like never before. Each brush stroke is accompanied by Chopin, Ravel, Debussy and other famous composers. Impressionism is characterized mainly by painting in nature and captures unique moments that are now more alive for you than ever before.

An immersive experience

Big screens will take you to ballet halls, for example. The ballerina motif is typical of Edgar Degas, as well as his famous herds of horses. The sound of gallop is not missing in these scenes. The immersive exhibition is a simply fascinating experience when the paintings on the screens come to life and provide the viewer with an unforgettable experience. Allow yourself to be drawn in.

Exhibition installation

The premises offer more than 2000 m2 of projection areas covered by 30 laser projectors in a 3D surround sound environment. The preparation itself in the Karlín Forum took about a week, during which projectors, screens and all equipment, including media servers, were installed. They take care of playing the content. We have six of them in the Forum, and each of them has the task of projecting a part of the projection screen. Together they form a whole as we see it in its final form.

Before each projection, our technicians carefully check the positions of all projectors and their correct functioning so that we can offer all visitors an undisturbed and always the same quality experience.

Forget the queues like in Louver

The Forum is very spacious, and you will find several seats in the hall. You can choose the perspective with which you want to observe the exhibition. But one thing is sure - whether you decide to be in the middle of the action or sit in one of the corners, you will always have a great view, and the screens will engulf you. Here you don't have to squeeze in a crowd, like in front of the Mona Lisa and compete for the best photo with the rest.

"Bylo nebylo"… Van Gogh, Monet, Renoir" is the first in a series of events that I want to present in the Karlín Forum. The following chapters of the story, "Bylo nebylo," will be eventually made. In the first chapter, I decided to draw attention to the beauty of nature that surrounds us, as seen by several important painters of the Impressionist and post-Impressionist periods," says the producer of the exhibition Serge Grimaux.

During the summer, you can visit the exhibition from Thursday to Sunday. Don't miss this unique opportunity to see the moving impressionist gems in the Karlín Forum.
