SAFE CONFERENCE IN O2 UNIVERSUM FOR OLYMPUS
To organize safe events for our clients, we offer four studios at AV MEDIA EVENTS, each offering different technical options to customize customer's needs.
We can provide a "green" studio built in the Cubex conference center, which offers ideal conditions for events dominated by a virtual environment. The studio in the O2 Universum is designed for larger meetings that require social distancing and provides the largest LED wall in the Czech Republic, measuring 16 × 4 meters.
Change (of a studio) is life
OLYMPUS is the largest manufacturer of flexible endoscopes globally and regularly holds training courses for specialized doctors and endoscopic nurses. As our regular customer, they have used our studio's premises in the Prague Congress Center twice. In November and January - to hold a webinar on new endoscopic methods. For the next upcoming online broadcast, the client came up with a new request. They wanted to "try something new" and move the level of the event a little higher. After presenting all our possible locations, we agreed to move the broadcast to our largest studio at the O2 Universum.
We started to prepare the pre-production of the broadcast content in cooperation with the client six weeks before the event at the Institute of Clinical and Experimental Medicine and the Central Military Hospital in Prague. The day before the event, thorough technical rehearsals took place. Both lecturing professors had been invited to the studio one day before the event to get used to the new environment. They went through a detailed broadcast script with our director.
Safety first
OLYMPUS representatives and lecturers work in healthcare, and the event was also very carefully planned in terms of covid safety. The entire technical and organizational team, including all cooperating O2 Universum employees, had to present negative antigen tests for Covid-19. At the client's request, all personnel present on site had to be equipped with FFP2 respirators of the highest category, i.e. European standards EN149: 2001 + A1: 2009 made of nanostructured filter material. The client also required only professional disinfectants certified for use in medical facilities on hands and surfaces in the studio and adjacent areas. All persons in the studio were strictly limited and monitored by the O2 Universum security service.
Cooperation is the key to success
It was not our first cooperation with OLYMPUS. The client requested the same technical team with which they have been working on events for a long time. The team is perfectly coordinated and knows the customer's technical quality and equipment requirements and the needs regarding communication or internal corporate standards.
Online broadcasting outside the Czech Republic
The three-hour broadcast took place via the proven and well-established Webex platform on two independent channels for passive and active participants according to the client's specifications. During the webinar, we connected participants from more than ten countries worldwide to O2 Universum - from the Czech Republic through Greece, Israel to Russia and Kazakhstan.
